Google on “you say” “God says” and you’ll find a multitude of sites. They contain copies of what we say, what God says, along with the Bible verses that give God’s promise.
A few ladies are working those into a nice gift for loved ones. Only it’s hard to know where to stop.
That’s right – starting is easy, but it is so hard to know where to end a list of God’s promises for there are so many of them!
How do we sort them out? By subject, so that if we’re afraid we can find:
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10 KJV)
But wait, that verse also is for those who need strength: I will strengthen thee; and for those who need help: I will help thee.
I’ve come to the conclusion that it is up to those who know them to share them with others, just as they did a little higher in that chapter:
They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage. (Isaiah 41:6 KJV)
The next verse speaks of a carpenter, a goldsmith, one who uses an anvil, one who soders and one who fastens with nail. A community of workers, helping each other achieve strength enough that it should not be moved.
That’s one reason I publish this blog, in hopes that you’ll find the Bible interesting, intriguing, enlightening – and that you’ll find time to read it on your own. Following good Biblical advice: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: (Hebrews 10:24 KJV)
And the reason for this is another one of those promises, just a verse above: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:23 KJV)
That’s one of the best promises – for he is faithful that promised.
Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. (Isaiah 49:7 KJV)
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. (2 Thessalonians 3:3 KJV)

Thank you for taking time to read and comment on the blog. Comments should take into consideration this verse: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8 KJV)
