There’s a Live Science Article that intrigued me. It discusses so many things that our scientists postulate, believe, but can neither explain nor measure at the present time. [update: a similar article on Fox: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,430943,00.html
I know how they feel!
Please do not think I am rejecting their theories. In fact, there is nothing within their discussions that preclude the existence of God – which would be the only reason for a rejection by me. The concept of our total universe being contained within a ‘bubble’ doesn’t sound any more difficult to accept than a big bang – or the spoken word of God.
Others must have read about this bubble much earlier. The ending of Men in Black displayed such a scenario. There truly is nothing new under the sun, even if the sun is not our own.
It’s a pleasure to read of a scientist using terms such as: “guesstimate”; “most likely”, “speculation” and “posit”. Doesn’t mean they are wrong, they just need more time to learn more.
That’s all we Christians ask. Haven’t we, Christians that is, been telling people for millennia that while the universe may be limited, God is not? We have been provided God’s word, and we have accepted what it has to offer. We listened to the preacher God sent, and we called upon Him in whom we have come to believe. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 KJV)
Proverbs adds to the thoughts running through my mind: Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him. (Proverbs 29:20 KJV)
I would suggest that we not be hasty. I do not see where the Bible has rejected science, neither do I see where science has rejected God. Truly, some men have and they have explained that it is because God cannot be seen, cannot be measured, that His existence cannot be proven.
Beg to differ with those who demand proof. We do not offer proof, only faith. And that is defined by the Bible as … the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV)
The last sentence in this Live Science article should catch our eye: “…inaccessible realms we cannot see.”
Keep an open mind. Perhaps accessibility is in the eye of the beholder.

Thank you for taking time to read and comment on the blog. Comments should take into consideration this verse: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8 KJV)
