Let me take a personal moment, please, to say a prayer of thanks for this wonderful rain. We were out of town and missed the first two days, but on the way home yesterday we drove through sleet, snow and wonderful drops of water landing on a dry and thirsty land.
More than three inches here! When we left there were a few bits of green grass poking through, and a few trees were brave enough to display their new leaves. With this life sustaining rain, the signs of spring stretch across the hills.
Our live oak has dropped its old leaves and bright new ones are looking for sunshine.
Thank you, Lord, for providing for us through all seasons. Thank you, Lord, for our daily bread.

Thank you for taking time to read and comment on the blog. Comments should take into consideration this verse: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8 KJV)
