Spring Gala Blog Party

My sweet friend Barbara has introduced us to a Spring Gala Blog Party.

Here are my answers to their questions:
1. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
A tour of Israel.

2. What is the oldest item you own?
Travels of Lewis and Clark (in the 'former colonies') published 1817 in England.

3. If you had to pick one hero, who would it be?
Jesus, son of God, Messiah, who did all for all

4. If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead. Who would it be?
Hmm. that would take a lot of thought. I see the living I love, and those who've gone before I'll be seeing relatively soon. I think I'd pick three preachers: John Winthrop, Charles Spurgeon and Billy Graham.

5. Which do you like better, Coke or Pepsi?
Of only those two, Coke -- a better carbonation. I prefer water.

6. What would you rather have- chocolate or a cookie?
Chocolate, even if it's a chocolate cookie!

7. What is your favorite season?
Winter

8. What's your favorite thing about Spring?
Green renewal of the countryside.

9. What's your favorite music?
Hymns, starting with Fanny Crosby through today's gospel

10. What's your fashion/personal style?
Denim and flannel - country!

  1. Well thanks for joining in, this has been fun, we need a lift up Jesus day to share in blog world. Seems many are off doing other things this week, hugs and have a great day.

Thank you for taking time to read and comment on the blog. Comments should take into consideration this verse: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8 KJV)
